Keyworker - Library Services at Home

Working 18.25 hours per week
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Keyworker to join our dedicated team in delivering library services direct to customers in their own homes throughout Birmingham. You will undertake general library duties including stock selection for customers as well as driving to all areas of the city as part of a scheduled service.
To be successful you will have excellent customer service and communication skills have the ability to work flexibly able to change priorities according to the needs of the service as well as able to work on your own initiative and be part of the wider team.
You will be part of a team providing a citywide library service to residents throughout Birmingham. Duties include selecting library stock and driving to all areas of the city delivering to people in their own homes and general library duties.
You must be able to demonstrate a caring attitude and cultural awareness of our diverse client group. A full driving licence and the ability to drive vans up to 3.5t is essential. You will need to be able to load/unload boxes of books weighing up to 15kg. Library training will be provided. Training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be subject to a driving assessment with Birmingham City Council prior to an offer being made. You will be required to present your Driving License at interview.
