Job Description
A leading purpose-built veterinary hospital in Manchester is seeking a dedicated ECC Veterinary Surgeon. This thriving and affordable city boasts excellent transport links and a vibrant social scene. The ECC department is a busy dynamic environment equipped with cutting-edge monitoring equipment intensive care facilities and a dedicated night team. As a referral centre for a wide range of complex cases it provides unparalleled opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.
The successful candidate will join the out-of-hours team managing emergency presentations stabilising critical patients performing emergency surgeries and providing high-quality care during night or weekend shifts. This role is ideal for a vet who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional emergency medicine.
Excellent Conditions & Benefits:
- Salary: 65000 - 75000 per annum.
- Shift Pattern: An attractive rota with concentrated shifts typically 7 nights on 7 nights off or similar variations allowing for significant blocks of time off.
