Assembler
Purpose: Perform assembly packaging shipping functions and operate machines and equipment to fabricate parts for assembly and sub-assembly of parts. Complete required paperwork. This is an on-site role in Utica NY with second shift hours of 3:30pm-12:00am.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform manufacturing assembly sub-assembly inspection and packaging duties to assemble and ship medical devices following company policies and procedures.
- Operate machine set up with defined adjustments and notify supervisor of any problems
- Load/unload parts and cut/trim parts using established procedures and tools
- Inspect parts - visual and using basic gages (go/no go)
- Complete required paperwork including labels production logs process results records etc.
- Sustain and maintain organizational and cleanliness standards
- Complete material handling duties as needed to support production
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship.
Disclosure as required by applicable law the hourly pay rate for this position is $17.77/hour. The hourly pay rate is CONMEDs good faith belief at the time of this posting.
