Biddeford Regional Center of Technology is seeking a dedicated teacher to lead our well-established and highly reputable CNA /Health Assistant out why we are a different Job Details:Starting Fall 2025Biddeford Regional Center of Technologyisseeking an individual who would contribute to a positive work environment is passionate about teaching and wants to make a difference in students position reports to the Director of BRCOT. This instructor will create a safe learning environment and encourage student engagement to prepare students to earn their state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant and pursue post-secondary education in the medical field. This program also provides dual enrollment college serve approximately 450 students primarily from the following high schools: Biddeford Old Orchard Beach Thornton Academy and the school offers coursework in the following career clusters: Business Studies Career Exploration Computer Technology Career Exploration and Development Engineering and Architectural Design Auto Technology Residential Carpentry Electrical Technology Manufacturing Welding and Metal Fabrication Plumbing and Heating Culinary Arts and Hospitality Teaching and Education and Medical/Health OccupationsResponsibilities include but are not limited to:1. Teaches the state-approved CNA standards and curricula providing a clinical experience to prepare students to sit for the state exam.2. Coordinate clinical experience with host sites.3. Coordinate transportation between the school and host sites4. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to create a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.5. Regularly assesses each students academic social /emotional growth and clinical skills and maintains appropriate and timely records.6. Communicates with parents through conferences and other means such as newsletters email phone calls student information system postings (as applicable) in-person meetings7. Maintains technological proficiency for instruction reporting and Job DescriptionExperience:Teaching experience desirableExperience in long-term and short-term care facilitiesQualifications:Current licensed Maine Registered NurseMaine DOE Certification or eligibility for DOE Certification- 896Valid DOE fingerprinting certificationValid Maine drivers licenceAmerican Heart Assoc.
