Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
Develop and maintain a financially viable pulmonary medicine practice at Mercer Medicine
Clinical Care of patients in department including participating with department call schedule if applicable
Provide cardiology consultations for Mercer Medicine patients and other patients as requested by community and affiliate hospital physicians.
Perform cardiology procedures for Mercer Medicine patients as applicable
Actively participate in medical staff and affiliate hospital committees.
Complete all medical record documentation requirements as specified in the medical staff rules and regulations on a concurrent basis.
Qualifications:
Candidates must:
M.D. degree from an accredited college/university
Board certified in Cardiology Medicine/Critical Care
Georgia medical license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Georgia
Experience in ambulatory practice setting
Experience with clinical trials or outcomes research desirable; experience in academic medicine environment highly desirable
