Job Description

Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Req ID: 63029 Start Date: 8/25/2025 Shift: 4x10 Nights 9pm-7am Years of Experience: 1 First Timers Accepted: Yes Certs REQ: BLS ARDMS ARMDS RVT Skills REQ: Required - Registered sonographer both general and vascular. Preferred - Credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in either abdomen or obstetrics/gynecology and vascular technology is preferred. Preferred - Neonatal cranial exams Is on-call REQ: No Weekend REQ: Yes Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: No Open to accommodating block schedule: Yes Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility Pending License Accepted: N/a RTO Restrictions: Prefer little to No RTO. NO HOLIDAY RTO. Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1 12 hour shift per 2 weeks. UNIT INFORMATION: We scan a variety of general and vascular ultrasound exams. Patient population encompasses all ages neonates children and adults. FACILITY INFORMATION Type of Facility: Acute Hospital Magnet/Teaching/Level Trauma: Magnet Facility Level II Trauma USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska Total Staffed Beds: 407 Scrub Color: Provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Parking is free
