We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic HLTA with supervisory responsibilities to join our inclusive supportive and forward-thinking team working within two PMLD primary/secondary classes to support a group of students with profound and complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality learning support for pupils with a range of complex learning needs. Working closely with teachers support staff and external professionals you will help ensure all children reach their full potential.
Were looking for someone who:
Holds a HLTA qualification or is willing to work towards it.
Has at least two years experience supporting children and families.
Has experience leading groups or whole-class learning.
Is confident in supporting children with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication and report-writing skills.
Understands safeguarding responsibilities and works proactively.
