The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.
Responsibilities:Performs installation of all campus televisions data wiring and cameras. Performs all classroom technology checks and assigned preventive maintenance. Assist with routine and emergency card access/door hardware tasks including installation and repair of campus One Card system low voltage (12-48 volt) equipment speakers AV cabling fire alarm and security systems and the interface of these systems with one another. Performs on-call duties as assigned. Exhibits exceptional customer service and team skills. Integrates safety procedures into every job task.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the Universitys mission and who will be an active participant in their local church A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
A minimum of two (2) years employment experience in a similar position is required to include at a minimum working with low voltage pulling cable and audio/visual technology.
Card access system and/or alarm system designs and installation experience (electricity up to 48V) is preferred.
Experience with door hardware and egress code compliance is preferred.
Proficiency in the use of power tools (drills saws etc.) is required.
Must possess or have the ability to immediately obtain OSHA/safety training/certification in PPE lock-out tag-out and related topics.
Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
Must possess a current and valid Texas drivers license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
Must agree to the Universitys Employee Statement of Understanding
