Job Description
Amazons Softlines Private Brands (SPB) team is currently seeking a dynamic and visionary Sr. Product Developer that will be responsible for creating the product roadmap/line plan for key growth categories optimizing product specifications and for scalably reducing commercialization time.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about product and have strong analytical product development and project management skills. They should feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity driving stakeholder engagement and working in an entrepreneurial environment. This Sr. Product Developer should be able to collaborate with and influence multiple (global) teams across the APB organization. This role interacts with the design business management in-stock management sourcing and tech teams across Amazon Private Brands.
Key job responsibilities
* Conduct thorough analysis of customer signals and product performance to inform product roadmap for key growth categories.
* Own selection identification feature set business requirements and prioritization for forward looking line plan.
* Collaborate with and manage a diverse stakeholder base across Design Product Development Business Management In Stock Management Marketing and other Amazon teams.
* Successfully navigate through ambiguity applying strong problem solving skills to stand up new processes that unlock speed.
* Identify and mitigate process/system defects deep diving root causes and developing solutions.
* Partner with product families outside of Softlines to drive development synergies.
* Help to drive the definition and documentation of future-state processes.
* Manage prioritization of and trade-offs between speed to market business performance and product features.
*Own successful commercialization of customer-loved Amazon branded product.
- 5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
