Job Description
POSITION: Associate Escrow Assistant
FULLTIME/PARTTIME: FULLTIME
LOCATION: Modesto CA
SCHEDULE: 40hrs
PY RANGE: $20.40 hourly paid weekly
ASSIGNMENT: 06/16/2025 to 07/31/2025 (temp to hire)

Duties:
Provides support to Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings. Performs secretarial and clerical duties to assist in the gathering of information and handling of funds for escrow closings. Answers phone greets customers places call and writes for various information needed for escrow closings. Process opening orders initial file set up deposit and distribution of funds written transmittals for funds and documents handling reconveyances preclosing maintenance and post-closing follow up on assigned files.
Will handle money primarily in the form of checks not necessarily cash.
Initially noted driving required has been removed as this is not required for this onsite position.
Skills:
Strong customer service orientation. Detail orientation. Excellent verbal communication. Problem solving skills. Strong organizational skills. 1-year related industry experience in real estate or title field.
Education:
HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent Required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Use of computers and technology
