Job Description

Company: Commercial Landscape Services Provider

Location: Portland Oregon (Vancouver Clackamas Portland or Hillsboro branches)

Recruiter: Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a respected Pacific Northwest commercial landscape provider to hire a Business Developer. This is a crucial growth role for a local sales professional ready to develop territory-specific business generate millions in new contracts and help evolve the companys decentralized sales model.

Branch-Focused Growth:
In this role youll own business development within a defined service area directly aligned to one of the companys branch managers. The structure is designed for strong collaboration and accountability youll canvas cold call and generate business for your branch rather than covering a massive multi-office territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect canvas and develop leads through cold calling and in-person visits
  • Build and maintain a $1.5M$1.7M annual sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with your assigned branch manager on estimating strategy and execution
  • Understand site-level pricing targets (avg. $48k$60k annually per sale)
  • Source new business with target commercial clients
  • Develop market intelligence around local competitors
  • Participate in morning office hours before heading into the field daily

Qualifications:

  • Business development experience in the Portland/Vancouver market or similar urban market
  • Proven experience generating $2M in annual sales in the commercial landscape space
  • Strong local knowledge and the ability to work territory-smart (accounting for traffic patterns)
  • Comfort working independently and being accountable for growth within a specific footprint
  • Estimating experience or ability to partner with estimating support
  • Familiarity with CRM tools

This is a boots-on-the-ground high-visibility position where youll be an integral part of growing a $35M company with a great reputation. As a Business Developer youre not just sellingyoure helping shape branch-level success and client satisfaction.
