Job Description

Summary:

This position reports to VP & GM Willis Aeronautical Services Inc. It is response for all aspects of engine product line life cycle from purchase analysis and modeling to teardown repairs and maintaining up to date pricing and value for all components.


Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert for aircraft engine Used Serviceable Material (USM).
  • Develop and maintain teardown and monetization model for current generation turbofan engines including but not limited to CFM Family CF6 Family V2500 PW2000/4000 and GE90.
  • Develop and maintain engine models that include currently installed parts list applicable SB/AD Status LLP Status and Cycles Remaining expected repair costs and scrap rates Expected Sales Price Net Proceeds Generated and Cash Flow Timing.
  • Work with Records team to ensure engine is properly documented to maximize value.
  • Allocate cost and ensure material is entered into Quantum from engine teardowns.
  • Monitor engine performance and proactively identify deviations from expected returns both positive and negative.
  • Maintain a strong network of aviation suppliers to purchase material to support WASI external and internal customers.
  • Collaborate with WLFC and WERC Technical teams to identify material suitable for repair.
  • Working with Repair Management team develop reports showing time on repair scrap rates and costs compared to original model expectations.
  • Prioritize material induction and repairs based on demand trends quote activity and sales conversion rates.
  • Support forecasting of material availability for major customer programs and strategic engine builds.
  • Generate LCM (Lower cost or market) reports by analyzing part value trends repair cost structures and yield performance across engine types.
  • Monitor market trends in supply demand and pricing. Working with sales team proactively adjust pricing in order to meet revenue margin and inventory turns goals set by Senior Leadership Team.
  • Be prepared to capitalize on future opportunities with next generation engines.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 10 years experience in Engine Product Line Management or equivalent aviation experience with a history of increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
  • Analytical thinking and financial modelling.


Travel/Misc.:

  • 10% Travel as needed for conferences and customer visits.
