Descriptionob Description:Microsoft Power Platform Administrator/SME
Position Summary:The Microsoft Power Platform Administrator is responsible for the governance management maintenance and optimization of Microsoft Power Platform environments including Power Apps Power Automate Power BI and Power Pages. This role ensures the health security compliance and efficient operation of the platform while supporting business users developers and stakeholders to leverage low-code/no-code solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environment Management:
- Create configure and maintain Power Platform environments (development testing production).
- Implement and manage Dataverse databases connectors and resources.
- Monitor system health usage and capacity through Admin Centers and Azure Monitor.
- Security & Compliance:
- Manage roles permissions and data access (Dataverse security roles DLP policies).
- Implement governance policies for app creation data usage and API management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Automation & Support:
- Develop and maintain administrative automations (e.g. PowerShell scripts Power Platform Admin Connectors Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit).
- Troubleshoot platform issues performance bottlenecks and user-reported problems.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for Power Platform applications and workflows.
- Governance & Best Practices:
- Define and enforce application lifecycle management (ALM) practices.
- Set up monitoring dashboards alerts and audit logs.
- Work closely with IT security and architecture teams to align platform governance.
- Training & Enablement:
- Educate citizen developers and business units on platform capabilities guidelines and best practices.
- Create documentation conduct training sessions and provide platform onboarding.
- Upgrades & New Features:
- Stay updated with new Power Platform features roadmap updates and releases.
- Plan and coordinate platform updates testing new functionality and communicating impacts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep understanding ofMicrosoft Power Platformcomponents (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI Power Pages and Dataverse).
- Familiarity withAzure servicesrelated to Power Platform (e.g. Azure AD Azure Monitor Logic Apps).
- Experience withPowerShell scriptingand using thePower Platform CLI.
- Strong grasp ofsecurity modelsidentity management anddata loss prevention (DLP)policies.
- Knowledge ofALM processeswith tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for Power Platform.
- Ability to work withCenter of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kitor similar governance tooling.
- Problem-solving skills forperformance tuninganderror troubleshooting.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across technical and business teams.

- Microsoft Certifications such as:
- PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
- PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
- PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect
- PL-500: Power Automate RPA Developer
- Familiarity withDynamics 365(optional but beneficial).
- Experience with broaderM365 ecosystem(e.g. SharePoint Teams OneDrive) integrations.
