Reporting to the Director Practice Learning and Simulation the Manager supports the ongoing effective and efficient operation of the Island Health Simulation Program and the dedicated simulation spaces that are managed in partnership with UBC Faculty of Medicines Island Medical Program including the Centre for Interprofessional Clinical Simulation Learning (CICSL). The Manager establishes and implements plans policies and procedures to ensure the ongoing sustainability of the program which provides experience-based teaching and learning for the learners and professionals of the health and care community with a primary mandate to increase the safety of patients and improve quality of care.
A level of Education training and experience equivalent to a Masters degree in nursing or a related health field plus seven (7) years of experience.
