Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Associate Director)

About the Role
We re hiring a Client-Side Project Manager ready to step into an Associate Director-level position with one of the UKs most respected multidisciplinary consultancies.
Youll take the lead on delivering high-value regeneration civic heritage and public realm projects typically ranging from 5m to 50m. Most projects are located in Greater Manchester/North West Area and the West Midlands with occasional regional travel.
This is a hands-on delivery role ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy stakeholder engagement and full project lifecycle ownership from concept and feasibility through to handover.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the client-side delivery of complex construction projects across civic regeneration and residential sectors.

Manage RIBA stage 0 7 processes including consultant and contractor procurement.

Oversee pre-construction planning cost control and risk management.

Coordinate across design teams JV partners and council/planning departments.

Provide strategic input on town centre master planning and regeneration initiatives.

Support business development and potentially further down the line mentor junior PMs.

What We re Looking For
-
10 years in a client-side or consultancy project management role or local authority (not contractor-side only)
-
Proven experience managing public sector construction schemes (town halls civic buildings heritage sites public realm urban regeneration)
-
Familiar with JCT NEC and Design & Build contracts

Skilled in stakeholder engagement and client-facing delivery
-
Based in or near the North West region or willing to commute with hybrid working
-
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving mindset
Desirable Backgrounds

Former/Current PMs from small/mid-sized construction consultancies or local authorities
-
Experience working with local authorities developers or regeneration frameworks
-
Understanding of master planning feasibility studies and pre-construction delivery
