Job Description
Were looking for a skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator with press brake experience to join our Assembly team at our Hamilton site. In this hands-on role youll help manufacture and assemble Air Handling Units ensuring the highest quality and precision to meet engineered designs and specifications.
Your role: Reporting to the Production Foreman from 7:30am - 4pm youll be part of a larger team of production workers responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Fabricating parts using technical drawings hand and power tools sheet metal machines and welders where applicable.
- Performing sub-assembly and assembly work.
- Conducting quality assurance checks to maintain high production standards.
- Packing completed products for dispatch.
- Carrying out onsite work and maintenance tasks as required.
- Maintaining housekeeping duties in line with Temperzone BEST and 5S systems.
- Flexibly working across all production areas to provide coverage and support other assembly functions as needed.
Qualifications :
You will have experience and skillsets in the following:
- 1 3 years in manufacturing industry is ideal
- Experience with press brake machines for metal work cutting and bending
- Ability to understand drawings specifying length and diameter
- Computer literacy for programming machines
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and dimensions
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Good team player with reliable attendance
