Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor the Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment. This position requires repair and maintenance to maintain the building/facility and production machinery/equipment in the facility.
JOB DUTIES
Provide hands-on support through troubleshooting equipment faults to diagnose problems and complete repairs
Complete all required reporting and documentation
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental/Health and Safety
Perform preventative maintenance on all Production Equipment
Inspecting mechanical and electrical components
Qualifications :
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
GED or Diploma
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Welding cutting and fabrication
Minimum 3 years experience in Maintenance Manufacturing environment or five years of heavy automotive mechanic experience (oil/gas field truck/bus/water etc.) or a combination of related heavy automotive technical training and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
Standing for long periods of time walking throughout the facility ability to lift 50lbs as required
Additional Information :
Work Environment
Exposed to elements such as cold heat noise dust odors fumes etc.
Standing for a long period of time
1st and 2nd shifts.
