Senior Gameplay Animator, Creatures

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an exceptional talented and experienced Senior Gameplay Animator to join our team. The person in this position will be responsible for creatures and humanoids animation.
Gameplay Animators in our company work very closely with Gameplay Designers Programmers and Animation TDs so technical and implementation knowledge is crucial.
Gameplay Animators work both with keyframe animation and mocap data depending on the subject. If mocap is required the Animator will be responsible for directing the actor on site at our facilities.

Daily responsibilities

• Creating high quality animation assets with low turnover time.
• Solving everyday problems reporting issues to the team lead.
• Give feedback to the rigging department based on the animation needs for each character.
• Follow the animation pipeline and the processes involved from the conceptual phase to implementation in Unreal Engine.
• Working with both keyframe and mocap data.
• Directing the actor on site when needed.

Qualifications :

• At least 5 years of documented experience in video game animation.
• At least a shipped AAA title.
• Very good knowledge of Maya and Motion Builder as a plus.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience in animation of bipedal / quadruped characters and other organic and inorganic forms.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with game designers animation  programmers and riggers.
• Outstanding creativity and a very strong commitment to the project.
• Passion for games and be updated on the current game releases.
• Preferred experience working at the motion capture stage and directing an actor.
