Get to Know the Role

Were a diverse passionate team transforming Grabs engineering culture through knowledge management and training.

This role meant to shape Grabs knowledge culture by creating clear impactful technical content. Collaborate with engineers and PMs to lead documentation and training programs.

  • Focus: Engineering excellence onboarding documentation
  • You will report to the Manager of Tech Learning and be based onsite at Petaling Jaya Malaysia.
  • Ideal candidate: Passionate about simplifying complex ideas and scaling knowledge.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Oversee end-to-end Documentation as Code programs
  • Guide strategy and improvement for technical docs & knowledge-sharing
  • Partner with engineers to produce accurate scalable content (stability on-call resiliency)
  • Embed docs into product/engineering workflows
  • Identify gaps and promote a learning culture
  • Establish content standards & templates
  • Develop onboarding guides sample code & training
  • Review and refine team documentation for quality/usability
  • Improve Grabs technical brand by blogs/articles
  • Use AI tools for smarter content creation
  • Mentor junior technical content developers

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 6 years in technical writing developer docs or content strategy
  • Information architecture and user-focused content skills
  • Experience documenting technical features with engineering teams
  • Hands-on with Docs as Code (Markdown Git CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of SDLC infrastructure Git microservices
  • Collaboration with engineering product design
  • Background in learning/dev enablement programs
  • AI-curious: automation smart search or doc assistants
