Design is represented at every level of leadership which means youll be supported not just in execution but in driving strategy shaping direction and challenging the status quo across the business.
Our work spans the entire ecosystem across both B2C and B2B helping candidates find the right role and enabling recruiters to find the right talent. Its a full-spectrum design organisation where your decisions ripple across real human journeys not just screens.
The role
Were looking for a Senior Product Designer with the vision precision and craft to redefine what world-class product design looks like not just inside Stepstone but across the industry.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role ideal for someone who sees design as a strategic force not just a function. Youll lead the experience vision for an entire product stream pushing the boundaries of whats possible and designing with intention clarity and care.
Youll work side-by-side with Product Directors Heads of Product Engineers and Researchers to identify the highest-leverage opportunities and turn them into meaningful measurable outcomes.
You wont just improve flows youll rethink how people find jobs how technology can better support real human needs and how great design can make complexity feel simple.
Youll be expected to:
- Set the quality bar and raise it
- Challenge assumptions including your own
- Tell the story and bring others with you
- Design extraordinary experiences that move the needle for both users and the business
What Youll Do
Youll report into one of our Product Design Managers and work alongside deeply experienced product engineering and research partners. But youll lead with autonomy setting the bar for execution quality and clarity within your domain.
- Design simple intuitive and human-centered experiences that solve real problems with precision creativity and intent
- Define your own impact in partnership with Product shaping priorities owning outcomes and holding yourself to the same success metrics as your team
- Elevate the quality of what we ship through best-in-class craft systems thinking and product clarity
- Help set the strategic direction of your product stream connecting user insight to business goals and turning ambiguity into focus
- Lead critical initiatives navigating complexity aligning stakeholders and creating momentum across multiple tracks of work
- Mentor and support other designers helping raise the bar through high standards thoughtful critique and leading by example
- Be a voice for quality creativity and simplicity not just in what we design but in how we work
