Job Description

At Rituals regulatory excellence is key to delivering high-quality products worldwide. As a Regulatory Specialist EU your expertise ensures that our products meet European laws regulations and internal standards before they reach our customers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams suppliers and regulatory authorities youll be instrumental in navigating our products registration and notification process in both existing and emerging European markets.

Your role

  • Report to the Market Compliance Manager within the Sourcing Quality and Regulatory Department.
  • Manage (international) product registration and notification processes with a primary focus on the European Union UK Nordics.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant EU laws and regulations for both existing and newly developed products.
  • Serve as a key contact for Rituals (international) sales organizations and third-party collaborators facilitating the preparation provision and legalization of necessary documents and certificates for European registrations and notifications.
  • Monitor regulatory changes to maintain continuous market compliance.
  • Review and approve draft artwork labeling for product introductions.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry developments and ensure knowledge retention within the team.
  • Collect manage review and maintain documentation related to regulatory matters updating database systems accordingly.

Qualifications :

Your ingredients

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the EU cosmetics industry or a related field.
  • A degree in Law Chemistry or equivalent experience.
  • Solid knowledge of EU and international regulations (CPNP).
  • A positive solution-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to simplify complex compliance requirements.
  • The ability to multi-task manage multiple projects and stakeholders and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Affinity for regulatory activities in the cosmetics industry; experience in Regulatory Affairs within the European beauty market is a plus.
