Job Description

Job summary

Roles & Responsibilities
 

  • Review and Preparation of monthly operating expenses to understand and check accounting accuracy hygiene of balance sheet line items on periodical basis.
  • Enabling timely payments for outstandings periodic reconciliation of balances and reporting of balances in financial statements.
  • Effective business partnering and supporting business in day-to-day operations with insightful data and drive efficiency cost optimisation.
  • Preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports and analytical dashboards
  • Monitoring of internal controls & process identifying improvement areas and implementing adequate controls
  • Ensuring controls compliance with internal SOPs commercial policy and SOX guidelines.
  • Maintain review evidence audit evidence and workings to handle audits both external Internal (SOX) .

Qualifications :

Educational qualification:

  • CA/CWA with 1-3 years of experience with good communication effective collaboration and business partner approach.

Behavioral skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data for process improvement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for representing GBS in cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership skills for guiding and training team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and process documentation.
  • Collaborative mind-set for working with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Department
Finance

The Finance function at Dr. Reddys goes beyond the traditional roles of monitoring costs supervising accounting and creating reports. Deep into its digitalization transformation journey the function works with all departments in the organization as a strategic partner and plays a major role in supporting management in its decision making.                                                                

The function is distributed globally and has business partnering teams allied to different business units as Controller and Planners. And secondly distributed as multiple Centre of Excellence housed in Corporate office such as treasury Risk & Assurance Taxation Corporate Analytics Investor Relations GFRT and GBS.
