Job Description
ALTEN UK is looking for an Electronics Engineer to support a leading Aerospace & Defence client in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact project in a technically rich environment.
What youll be doing:
Designing and developing electronic hardware for aerospace systems.
Creating schematics and PCB layouts for safety-critical environments.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and test designs.
Qualifications :
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong background in Electronics Engineering.
Has done schematic capture and PCB design.
Familiarity with aerospace standards and life cycle development.
Bonus experience (nice to have):
Exposure to power electronics (DC-DC converters power supplies etc.)
Experience with tools like Altium Designer OrCAD or Mentor Graphics.
Background in safety-critical design or DO-254/DEF STAN.
