Market Development Representative

About the opportunity

Join our Xplor Pay vertical as a Market Development Representative to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have every code line we write and every interface we design is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers experiences.

Reporting into the VP of Business Development and Sales you will help us generate new business opportunities by identifying qualifying and engaging with potential customers. You will play a key role in supporting the sales pipeline by setting up high-quality meetings for our Account Executives and contributing to the overall success of the business development strategy. Some of the other responsibilities include:

• Prospect into target accounts via cold calling emailing and LinkedIn outreach
• Qualify leads based on business needs budget and decision-making authority
• Book meetings for Account Executives by clearly articulating our value proposition
• Maintain accurate activity and lead data in our CRM (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot)
• Continuously test and refine messaging to improve conversion rates
• Meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs (calls emails meetings booked etc.)
• Stay up to date on industry trends and product knowledge

- The average base salary pay range for this position is $65000 to $85000 

Location: You can work fully remote in this position provided you have eligible working rights and you are in a time zone with enough overlap to collaborate with your team.

Required qualifications for this role:

• 7-10 years of sales experience in the embedded payment processing market
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling rejection
• Self-starter with high energy and a coachable attitude
• Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools is a plus (e.g. Outreach SalesLoft)
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred
