Analysis teams identify client needs analyze processes and propose solutions to align with strategic goals. While fostering efficiency and ensuring organizational success through systematic approaches they also mediate between clients and engineering teams to ensure project clarity.
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in defining structuring and driving delivery for a highly innovative AI-enabled productone that leverages artificial intelligence to develop and optimize other AI systems. In this emerging and exploratory context you will act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders product teams and multidisciplinary technical groups shaping value-driven testable and scalable product capabilities.
This is a hybrid role that combines advanced Business Analysis with strong Product Owner instincts. It requires the ability to manage uncertainty align stakeholders and convert abstract ideas into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders by understanding their domain needs and long-term goals.
- Lead the discovery refinement and validation of business and functional requirements for AI-centric workflows including those that generate or assist in developing other AI models.
- Own the product backlog: create prioritize and evolve user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with business strategy and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate collaborative workshops with product UX engineering and data teams to explore solutions manage trade-offs and clarify value.
- Actively manage ambiguity and enable informed experimentation by defining hypothesis-driven features and test metrics.
- Identify and track dependencies risks assumptions and decisions especially those tied to model performance ethical considerations and regulatory compliance.
- Represent the product vision in key stakeholder conversations continuously validating its evolution against market trends and user needs.
- Mentor peers and contribute to the growth of the Business Analysis discipline within the organization.
Qualifications :
- 7 years of experience in Business Analysis with at least 3 years in Product Owner or hybrid BA/PO roles.
- Proven track record defining digital products in agile or iterative environments.
- Experience working with data-driven or AI-assisted platforms (not necessarily as model expert).
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to break down ambiguous problems and design structured solution paths.
- Proficient in user story writing backlog management and requirement traceability.
- Effective communicator with the ability to synthesize and translate complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineers designers and data scientists.
- Skilled in facilitation stakeholder alignment and solution co-design.
Desirable Skills for AI-Centric and Emerging Technology Projects
- Conceptual understanding of AI/ML principles (e.g. training data models prompts explainability accuracy vs bias).
- Experience working in non-deterministic environments where outcomes vary depending on model performance.
- Familiarity with ethical concerns governance frameworks and compliance considerations in AI development.
- Ability to define product metrics in exploratory settings (e.g. precision recall user feedback loops).
- Exposure to design thinking dual-track agile or similar iterative discovery frameworks.
- Experience in content lifecycle regulated industries or compliance-driven delivery contexts is a plus.
