Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Visa Acceptance Solutions Finance team supporting our various platforms including Cybersource Verifi and Visa. The Finance team uses a consultative model with key stakeholders in the business to apply data to business and finance decisions as well as measure performance. As a finance business partner this person will cultivate operational partnerships to drive strategic and financial thought leadership and successfully complete the financial planning budgeting forecasting and month-end reporting processes.
Essential Functions
- Leads the coordination organization and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Examples of activities include traditional budgeting and forecasting month-end close enhanced financial/business reporting business case development pricing analysis P&L generation and business planning support.
- Supports deal review activities and business case development for key initiatives.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e. executives and staff) in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.
- Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies priorities and issues of the business.
- Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.
- Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
- At least 2 years of relevant financial analysis work experience in FP&A corporate finance investment banking or management consulting
- Advanced skills in MS Excel strong skills in PowerPoint and experience in business intelligence platforms (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
- MBA is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
- Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate cross-functionally and with all levels of management
- Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets
- Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce time sensitive deliverables
- Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 102600.00 to 145150.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
