Job Description

IMC is currently hiring a Plant Operations Tech I to join our team. This team member will perform a variety of skilled work in the operation maintenance and repair of boiler heating air conditioning ventilating lighting power water water treatment and other mechanical systems normally found in a Hospital.Performs and completes assigned Scheduled Maintenance Work Orders (PMs) Routine and Emergency Work Orders in allotted and timelymanner.Provides Security related duties M-F during daylight hours. Maintains cooperative work relationship with others. Assist in the On Call rotation and respond to emergency repairs. Comply will all Hospital training and safety requirements. Ensure that the requirements of EPA Section 608 are met.
EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate or GED equivalentor equivalent work experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work requires prolonged walking(approximately 2hr/day) standing (approximately 1 hr/day) and sitting (approximately5hr/day).
- Frequently lifts and positions patientswith the assistance of other personnel.
PRINCIPLE TASKS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preventative maintenance done andcompleted in a timely manner.
- Work Orders done to satisfactory.
- Special projects done and completed inallotted time frame.
- Performs work with thoroughness.
- Maintain cooperative work relationshipwith others.
- Assist in the On Call rotation andrespond to emergency repairs
