You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Gordon Childrens Academy are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team in supporting the class teacher in the teaching and welfare of pupils promoting positive behaviour patterns raising self-esteem and improving independent working in pupils to assist in their education and growth. The successful candidate will assist the teacher with observation and monitoring of the progress of pupils maintaining accurate records of interventions with pupils together with detailing their progress and achievement. They will also under the direction of the teacher prepare differentiated work and materials for pupils use display work and resources.
There may be a requirement to work with pupils with Education Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs throughout the Key Stages. There may also be a requirement to administer First Aid subject to appropriate training.
The Gordons Childrens Academy is based in the Strood area. Our Junior and Infant school work closely together to ensure that all staff and children work together as one. We are lucky enough have a passionate workforce at our school who all care for and respect the fantastic children of our school.
We are dedicated to school improvement and we all aim to provide a happy safe and fun school environment for the children and our staff too. We have high expectations of behaviour and we recognise that it is our responsibility to listen to the children verbally or by interpreting their behaviour.
