Job Description
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focused on Sanskrit language and literature.
- Teach foundational Sanskrit grammar vocabulary and pronunciation to PRT-level students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Integrate cultural elements into lessons to help students appreciate Sanskrit heritage.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain detailed records of their progress.
- Encourage critical thinking and open discussions around texts studied in class.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Organize extracurricular activities and events promoting the Sanskrit language.
- Develop teaching resources including multimedia materials and interactive activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Stay updated with educational trends and incorporate innovative practices into the classroom.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions to improve teaching techniques.
- Support and mentor students in their language acquisition and academic growth.
- Bachelors degree in Sanskrit Education or a related field.
- A teaching certification or diploma in education is preferred.
- Strong command of spoken and written Sanskrit.
- Experience teaching at the primary level is preferred.
- Knowledge of effective classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and assessment tools.
- Ability to create culturally relevant learning experiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for teaching and conveying the importance of language and culture.
- Experience integrating technology into the classroom is a plus.
