Our hands-on high-energy programs encourage campers (Pre-K to age 15) to Discover Explore Achieve and Navigate new adventures. From skateboarding and sewing to team challenges and creative problem-solving every camper gains real-world skills while making unforgettable memories.

What Youll Do
As an Assistant Site Director youll play a key role in supporting camp operations leading activities and ensuring a safe organized and fun environment for campers and staff. Your responsibilities include:
- Assist with site setup and breakdown to maintain an efficient and structured camp experience.
- Support daily operations by working closely with the Site Director to ensure smooth camp logistics.
- Step in as a Lead Counselor when needed supporting or leading activities to engage campers.
- Manage supplies and inventory troubleshooting material needs and ensuring all resources are available.
- Escort campers safely between locations to maintain organization and timeliness.
- Oversee staff schedules including break times and classroom setup.
- Build relationships with site partners and act as a professional representative of the camp.
- Identify and solve challenges working with leadership to implement effective solutions.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support camp operations and keep things running smoothly.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experienced in Youth Leadership At least one year of experience working with children (camps teaching coaching babysitting etc.).
- Adaptable & Solutions-Oriented You think on your feet and solve problems proactively.
- Strong Leadership & Communication You engage inspire and support campers staff and families.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented You balance creativity with structure keeping camp running smoothly.
- Committed to Inclusion & Equity You help foster a diverse and welcoming environment for all campers.
- Excited to Learn & Lead Activities Comfortable jumping into various hands-on activities including:
- STEM & Creativity: Robotics coding woodworking sewing and cooking.
- Adventure & Sports: Skateboarding biking parkour and outdoor exploration.
- Creative Play: Engaging with our youngest campers (ages 35) in STEAM baking and dance movement.
- Tech-Savvy Comfortable using Google Workspace Slack and digital tools to support operations.
- Reliable & Available Able to commit to the full summer schedule (JuneAugust).
Schedule and Requirements
- JuneAugust (exact dates vary by location)
- MondayFriday 3640 hours per week
- Must be fully vaccinated and up to date on all immunizations.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs respond quickly to emergencies and work in an active outdoor environment.
