Metro is looking for an experienced full time Occupational Therapist to split their time between our Sayville & Hampton Bays clinics. Must have experience with neuro! Our clinics enjoy a well-trained support staff as well as a state-of-the-art space and equipment. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive supportive and innovative team!
Setting: Outpatient
Location & Hours: Hampton Bays (24 hrs) & Sayville (16 hrs)
Salary: 75k-85k
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one treatment
- Plan prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain improve or restore physical functioning alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
- Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
- Perform and document an initial exam evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
- Must be willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience.
