Were looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist in Hamilton NJ - to perform a pivotal role in aligning financial practices with sustainability goals ensuring investments are both profitable and environmentally responsible.

What you will do:
- Based in Hamilton NJ you will prepare financial statements for multiple entities including developers construction and operating entities. Perform intercompany accounting and consolidations
- Manage AP/AR reconciliations bank reconciliations revenue accruals adjusting entries job cost reconciliations and equity roll-forwards
- Provide audit support review and document processes and assist with corporate tax filings and multi-state sales/use tax filings
- Assist with project financing periodic funding financial schedules and cost-to-date documentation
- Continuously improve accounting procedures and support the development of more efficient workflows
- Work cross-functionally with teams support special projects and bring a service-oriented approach to a demanding environment
We are experts which means you will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting with 3-5 years of experience preferably in energy construction and/or real estate development
- Strong experience with accounting systems ERP software (Sage Intacct a plus) and Microsoft Office particularly Excel (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables).
- Multi-entity accounting consolidations and intercompany accounting experience. CPA or public accounting experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication diligence and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work in a flat collaborative organization maintain confidentiality and operate proactively with minimal supervision
