Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Payable Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of accounting principles and have a strong interest in developing a career in accounting. This role will assist in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices employee expense reports and AP month-end close activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments in accordance with company policies
  • Review verify and reconcile expense reports for compliance
  • Maintain and update vendor records including contact and payment information
  • Support AP month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in responding to audit inquiries and documentation requests
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (required)
  • Prior accounting internship or relevant experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
