Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is 49764 rising to 52805 per annum (pro rata for part-time) Pay Award Pending

Location:Loxley House Station Street Nottingham NG2 3NG

Every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment. As the Principal Manager you will be at the forefront of creating these life-changing opportunities. Your leadership will directly impact the lives of children providing them with the stability and care they need to thrive. By managing the recruitment of foster carers and overseeing assessments you will ensure that every child finds a loving home.

In this role you will:

  • Lead with Purpose: Manage the recruitment process for foster carers ensuring that every step is handled with care and efficiency.
  • Support and Inspire: Oversee the Fostering Support Team providing guidance and motivation to ensure the best outcomes for children and carers alike.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Foster for East Midlands and the D2N2 recruitment hub to drive applications and enhance our recruitment efforts.
  • Ensure Excellence: Maintain oversight of all recruitment activities ensuring the timely progression of events and applications.
  • Supervise with Care: Manage and support supervising social workers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and dedication to service users.

About You

We are looking for someone who is not just qualified but truly passionate about making a difference:

  • You will hold a Social Work qualification and are registered with Social Work England.
  • You have a deep understanding of fostering regulations national minimum standards and recruitment and marketing activities.
  • Your leadership and motivational skills are second to none and you excel in promoting good communication and continuous improvement.
  • You have detailed knowledge of National Standards and Fostering Regulations 2011 and the Childrens Act 2002 and can develop and implement Quality Assurance Systems.

Essential Requirements

  • Proficiency in English as required under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
  • A DBS enhanced check for regulated activity
  • Participation in the on-call rota
