Work cross-functionally and closely with integrated teams in Manufacturing Product Development Purchasing Marketing Sales and Service.
This position involves long-term travel (up to 9-12 months at a time) to support assembly plants during program launches in U.S. & Mexico.

Responsible for the overall program management and delivery of new vehicle programs. Activities include but are not limited to;
Issue Resolution Quality/Status Assessments Fleet (Vehicle) Management and Budgets/Timing.
Responsibilities
- Managing the Launch Teams transition to the plant.
- Managing Pre-Production Build Events.
- Managing the ordering building testing and disposition of vehicles.
- Managing the Pre-Production Drive Fleet Evaluation Plan.
- Managing Product Development change approvals ahead of prototype builds.
- Gatekeeper for New Model Programs.
- Leading the build issues management process for the cross functional program team.
- Co-Chairing meetings and driving part support issues to resolution for each pre-production build.
- Champion Senior Management Presentations.
- Preparing and presenting New Model Program weekly assessment reports.
- Managing launch budget approval and executing elements controlled by New Model Programs within the launch budget.
- This position involves long-term travel (up to 9-12 months at a time) to support assembly plants during program launches.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred
- Skilled in Word Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
- Exposure with Project management and/or launch experience.
- Exposure with 8-D and problem solving disciplines using statistical mindsets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Program management experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be detail oriented and highly organized
