Ford is investing $11.4 billion to build two state-of-the art manufacturing facilities BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. Ford has selected SK Innovation to partner with for their battery expertise. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Fords 100 years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK Ons 30 years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the worlds best battery manufacturer.


At BlueOval SK we will lead the transformation of the electric vehicle (EV) battery business through partnership (joint venture formed by Ford and SK On) to provide products and processes to increase our customers experience. As the future of BlueOval SK you will help lead the battery revolution by working alongside our teams as we build the batteries required for electric vehicle business excellence.

The Senior Plant HR Generalist position at a manufacturing plant requires a capable individual with a strong foundation in employee relations and a good understanding of business operations. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including supporting talent management implementing employee engagement programs ensuring compliance with regulations and participating in community outreach initiatives. This role is required to be on-site in a manufacturing setting and to possess strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for contributing to a positive and productive work environment ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and supporting the companys overall business objectives.



Responsibilities

What youll do

  • Serve as a strategic HR business partner aligning HR practices with business objectives for designated customer groups.
  • Manage the full talent lifecycle including recruitment onboarding performance management talent development succession planning and compensation support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive employee experience through engagement initiatives proactive communication and building relationships.
  • Expertly handle employee and labor relations including case management investigations grievances and interpreting union contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws regulations and company policies.
  • Support HR operational processes such as payroll time and attendance and comprehensive leave administration.
  • Monitor key workforce metrics to identify trends assess risks and inform decisions using data.
  • Collaborate on health safety and community engagement initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Youll have...
    Bachelors degree in human resources Organizational Development or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience required.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant HR work experience with a bachelors degree preferably in a manufacturing setting.

  • Masters degree in Human Resources or related
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification

This position is a salary grade 7.
