Our experts primarily work withcontractors building owners property managers andfacilities directors to design and implement reliable life safety solutions.

Job Skills / Requirements

The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordination of Midwest Alarm Services service ticket queue on a daily & monthly basis. This person will also be responsible with creating scheduling organizing data & invoicing service tickets.

What Youll Be Doing:

  1. Review service queue & maintain the service inbox daily.
  2. Take incoming phone calls & make outbound correspondence with customers as needed.
  3. Review ticket data against internal platforms to ensure service needs.
  4. Build schedule and daily assignment for technicians based on technical skill level.
  5. Verify technician time on service tickets on a daily basis.
  6. Confirm any parts for service tickets are in stock & ready for technician to pick up.
  7. Work with our inventory coordinator to order any necessary equipment for tickets.
  8. Issue the correct parts to service tickets. Verify parts & notate info for accuracy.
  9. Coordinate service requests from subcontractors.
  10. Track all service work done.
  11. Backup the inspection & project coordinators if needed.
  12. Assist in managing stock inventory.
  13. Provide quotes to customers if requested.
  14. Invoice service and subcontracted service tickets
  15. Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Midwest Alarm Services attendance expectations.

What youll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Must have ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Must have ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects effectively on a regular basis.
