Role Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA preferred or working towards)
- 3 years experience in a similar accounting role ideally within FMCG retail or hospitality
- Strong understanding of MYOB Xero or similar platforms
- Excellent attention to detail problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Able to work independently and within a close-knit team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including AP/AR payroll and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Oversee BAS GST and other tax compliance
- Support inventory and cost control processes
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors suppliers and banks
- Contribute to process improvements and system upgrades
