Job Description

As a Service Manager you will own our customers experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings inventory needs technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service retail sales restaurant industry or hospitality.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers receive prompt courteous and effective service
  • Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
  • Take ownership of customers experience by carrying out additional assignments enabling the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
  • Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
  • Interview and make new hires
  • Distribute work between technicians
  • Prioritize required services
  • Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries whether via phone or in person to ensure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Spend quality time building relationships with the customers
Requirements
  • Must have previous Service Manager experience for consideration
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Dealership experience preferred
