Job Description
R.J. Kielty Plumbing Heating and Cooling has been proudly serving Florida since 1973. With locations in New Port Richey Orlando and Brandon we are a family-owned company that values integrity craftsmanship and our people. Were growing and looking for a qualifiedHVAC Supervisor to join our new construction team in New Port Richey.
This is a working supervisor role best suited for someone with hands-on HVAC experience who is ready to lead and manage field operations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of residential HVAC systems mechanical codes and have strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support HVAC install crews on new construction job sites
- Ensure compliance with current mechanical and energy codes
- Schedule projects assign crews and ensure work is completed on time
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Maintain clear communication with builders internal teams and vendors
- Ensure job quality safety compliance and completion of inspections
- Help train and develop junior team members
- Use computer systems for reporting scheduling and communication
Required Qualifications
- Preferred 5 years experience in residential new construction HVAC
- Bilingual a plus
- Up-to-date knowledge of current mechanical codes
- Experience in personnel management and jobsite supervision
- Ability to read blueprints and experience with accurate takeoffs
- Strong inventory and time management skills
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Valid Florida drivers license with a clean MVR
- Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
