Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Union remittance processing
- Assist entering wage rates trade classifications and fringe benefit changes
- Ensure compliance with current government regulations
- Prepare union fringe reports for payment to trust funds ensuring funds balance to the payroll activity
- Assist union and financial audits
- Review incoming feeds for accuracy and identify any errors
- Work with branch and union personnel to ensure the timely upkeep and handling of union rate changes assist with troubleshooting issues and provide guidance on procedures
- Assist with preparing weekly certified payroll reports as needed
- Other various payroll duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; College preferred.
- CPP or FPC a plus
- 2 years required in a high-volume multi-state union payroll environment
- Exposure to certified reporting requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Highly proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word/Intermediate Excel) required.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and work within deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- ADP/Dayforce experience preferred but not required.
BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical dental vision life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 hourly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
