Located in the picturesque suburb of Ferntree Gully just 30 km southeast of Melbourne our newly refurbished clinic offers a welcoming environment where excellence thrives.
The responsibilities of the Head Nurse encompass supporting our Practice Manager and Head Vet providing guidance to our nursing staff and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of the clinic in accordance with our established Policies and Procedures. Additionally delivering a gold standard of customer service and care to our community is paramount.

Ability and commitment to training and mentoring junior nurses in training ensuring to train them to the highest standards and mentor them through their practical units throughout their units of competency.
Experience/Qualifications:
Certified IV with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience
Proficient in monitoring various types of anesthesia procedures
Sound knowledge of surgical procedures
Competent in conducting Nurse consultations including Dental checks Nail trims and pre-consultation health assessments
Familiarity with Ezyvet and Employment Hero is advantageous though not mandatory
Possession of excellent fear-free animal handling skill
