Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Production Graphic Designer with a strong design background to join the Communications and Marketing team. This role is responsible for managing the production process and for working collaboratively and iteratively to develop design concepts for services programs and events. The Designer will create production-ready artwork for print and digital assets based upon design concepts and maintain an archive of brand guidelines design templates fonts and photographs for future use.
We are hiring for a 40-hour-per-week non-exempt at-will position. This role will primarily work on-site at our Main location due to the need for in-person collaboration across multiple teams.

Working Conditions:
Work primarily in an office setting. Work may include extended periods of viewing a computer monitor and operating a keyboard. Requires sufficient manual dexterity that permits the employee to operate a computer office and library equipment. Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which allow the employee to work in a multilevel facility. Seeing hearing and speaking are required.

Applicants who will move forward will be invited to prepare a small project to showcase design skills. We will not use the work; we want to see how applicants will approach a library-specific project. A creative brief and branding guidelines will be provided. Applicants moving forward will have at least a week to complete the project.
Interviews will be conducted the week of 7/7-7/9 and will consist of a back-to-back interview with two different teams.
