This position can be home-based.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications Manager Donor Engagement plans develops and owns the timely production of polished and compelling donor-facing content and high-impact materials partnering across teams to develop communications that build trust convey impact and inspire continued engagement. This position leads and delivers on a well-established scope of work and a dynamic portfolio of projects supporting the cultivation and stewardship of top philanthropic donors.

The role requires a strategic creative and organized marcom professional who can envision and /or respond to a communicated vision to develop content strategy outlines scripts and plans; develop and write content for various purposes; and produce outputs in a wide variety of formats. The individual will conduct interviews with prioritized individuals engaging in a polished manner and guiding discussions to meet content objectives.

The Marketing Communications Manager works independently as well as with others to deliver a high-quality final product. The individual will be comfortable working with remote collaborators and colleagues openly leading project plans and timelines running vendor resources communicating clearly and getting results. The individual will be naturally curious continually aspiring to develop a strong command of the value mission programs and initiatives of the American Heart Association.
