The Workforce Platforms organization delivers solutions to support Pfizers enterprise applications and critical business processes.
How You Can Outdo Yesterday
In this role you will:
Develop enterprise level solutions for Apple end user products and accessories that are deployed as the main end user mobile and desktop/laptop suitable for all Pfizer Productivity workers.
Design and Support services to manage the global device fleet using Intune JAMF Pro MaaS360 Apple Business Manager as well as other cloud management tools.
Collaborate with a team of engineers product and service owners to create an environment where innovation is standard taking appropriate risks to advance innovative processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical and business requirements.
Drive the development and implementation of end point engineering strategies aligned with Pfizers cloud transformation goals.
Ensure the security and compliance of end point devices adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Oversee the design development and deployment of end point devices ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Maintain awareness and understanding of the budget for end point engineering ensuring cost-effective use of resources and solutions.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in end point engineering incorporating them into our strategies and practices.
Foster strong relationships with vendors and partners ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.
Handle escalated issues related to end point engineering ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of end point engineering processes implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requires exceptional knowledge of own discipline and advanced knowledge of others and applies these skills to ensure a C-TIES meets its goals
In this role you will provide guidance and lead or co-lead complex projects across Digital as well as Pfizer. You will be responsible for managing both your time and resources effectively to ensure the success of these projects.
You will apply your skills and discipline knowledge to contribute significantly to the work within the department. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving the team forward and achieving our goals.
You will be tasked with making decisions to resolve complex problems. You will also develop innovative solutions guided by policies in non-standard situations. Your ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations will be a key asset in this role.
You are expected to review your own work and seek directional review from others. In this role you may also review the work of other colleagues in a mentor role. Your ability to provide constructive feedback will be essential in maintaining a high standard of work within the department.
You will exercise judgment utilizing your knowledge and experience. Your expertise may become a resource for others in the department. Your ability to share your knowledge and experience will be highly valued in this role.
MAIN QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
7 Years of experience in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
A proven track record in relevant endpoint engineering areas with a focus on designing implementing and managing these solutions in a large-scale corporate environment.
A deep understanding of Enterprise level IT solutions and rapidly grasp complex technical concepts and anticipate support challenges.
Strong technical skills in Apple Mac & mobile solutions.
Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Azure MaaS360 and Intune.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Understand the total cost to deliver services develop realistic plans to achieve budget reduction targets and regularly monitor financial performance to plan.
