Through the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS) the Government of Canada has embarked on one of the largest procurement projects since the Second World War. The NSS is a nation-building effort to create a sustainable Canadian shipbuilding industry secure long-term job opportunities and build the next generation of ships for the Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. Through its NSSrelated work Seaspan Shipyards is owning the redevelopment of our domestic shipbuilding industry on the West Coast and delivering on the promise of ships built in Canada by Canadians.
The Intern Project Management Office will be responsible for assisting the Project Management Office (PMO) team in the successful management of the Joint Support Ship Program (JSS). This is a unique opportunity that will provide you with exposure to government contracts supply chain management production support and project management basics in a fast-paced modern shipyard. The incumbent will work closely with the rest of the project management office leading specific tasks as directed by the Project Managers and Project Director. Namely you will provide day-to-day support while assisting and coordinating specific activities.
Note: Due to business needs this position is required to be fully on-site based at 2 Pemberton Avenue North Vancouver.

We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $26.00/hour.
Start Date of Internship: Monday September 8th 2025.
End Date of Internship: Friday December 19th 2025 (4-Months)
