Compensation and Benefits:
- Wage range is $24.50-$29.00

Position Summary:
The Production Line Lead functions as a senior member of an operations area that is directly responsible for producing quality product in a safe and efficient manner. The Production Line Lead owns the results for their line while on shift. They need to be able to perform a base level of equipment trouble shooting as well as follow the escalation process for downtime. They are responsible for the crewing and staffing of their line and monitoring and directing production flow. The Production Line Lead is responsible for the following areas of their line: Mixing Depositing Ovens Flow Wraps and Packaging. The Lead reports directly to Production Supervisors for the shift.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow safety policies and protocols; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
- Uphold highest standards of food safety and product quality through observance and enforcement of allergen protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices; promptly report food safety and quality issues as necessary
- Foster a positive culture of respect and teamwork by treating coworkers with dignity and striving to exemplify the Bobos values: Collaborative Adaptable Passionate Perseverant and Fun-Loving
- Ensure that the production schedule is being followed and communicate any needed changes to the Supervisor quickly adjusting plan for the day based on production priorities
- Attend and participate in pre- and post- shift cross functional handoffs
- Communicate with supervisors and fellow leads regarding issues and shift-to-shift handoffs; Input information into shift passdown file
- Ensure that employees on their line are positioned in tasks in which they are properly trained
- Oversee CCP completion lot date accuracy changeover processes and documentation in their area
- Responsible for ensuring operators in their area code and categorize downtime correctly
- Responsible for accuracy of scanning raw and packaging materials to ERP system including daily yield review
- Make sure the kitchen area associates understand and follow recipe using proper batching processes
- Ensure sanitation housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the production area are compliant with quality standards
- Act as the immediate point of contact for employees working in designated areas
- Work within failure escalation policy
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of production records in flow control
- Adhere to and set employee expectation for all GMPs SQF and Food Safety protocols
- Check and respond to email daily
- Assist in training and development of all employees in designated area from new hires to experienced operators.
- Perform activities in compliance with all customer and government regulations
- Brings innovative ideas to the table to meet performance goals and commitments
- Held accountable to established metrics for department success including safety quality output and retention
- Ensure proper and timely startup of line each shift
- Responsible for product flow on their line and provide suggestions as needed for continuous improvement
- Complete required trainings in a timely manner
- The production supervisor and position holder are expected to have frequent (multiple times daily) interactions to ensure alignment on schedule planning problem solving and labor management
- Perform other duties as directed by supervision
- Regular attendance and punctuality are basic necessary requirements of this position
Marginal duties performed less frequently:
- Work overtime occasionally as needed
- Perform quality checks on the finished goods being produced
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will direct and oversee assigned employees in their designated area.
Qualifications / Education / Experience Desired:
- Fully trained in all functional areas of their line: Mixing Depositing Ovens Flow Wraps and Packaging
- Ability to work collaboratively within small and large diverse teams
- Comfortable with fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Facilitative leadership
Education / Education Desired:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years previous manufacturing or food handling experience
Language / Mathematical / Reasoning Ability:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
- Ability to read write and understand documents in English or Spanish such as Master Safety rules Good Manufacturing Practices Standard Operating Procedures and general instructions
- Must be a strong communicator able to direct a team under changing circumstances

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Supervision Given:
- This position reports to the Production Supervisor
- Position will work directly with Production Leads on other lines and Production Management as well as support functions within the plant
- The position holder is expected to be able to work with minimal oversight at times able to confidently handle situations on their own

This position is required to work onsite in our Loveland CO facility
Travel Required:
Very Limited May be asked to go off-site (locally) for equipment training safety/food safety training and other short duration items. No overnight travel expected.
