Perfect opportunity to step up into a leadership role ideally for Senior Registered Nurses seeking the next step to develop their career! Temporary part-time Maternity leave cover for 12 months at Caboolture Private Hospital.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Clinical Nurse to join our high performing and energetic 43 bed Medical/Surgical team.
This direct leadership role will see you supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and act as a professional resource lead and support person for your fellow team members and to provide patients with a high standard of dedicated and specialised care.
You will also be required to participate in Quality improvement Programs in line with organisational and departmental strategic plans.

Your Skills and Experience
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service confident communication and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years experience within an acute medical/surgical ward
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional
- Team leading experience
- Portfolio management aligned with nursing standards
- Possess excellent time management skills and well development clinical problem-solving skills
- A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance
- Post graduate qualification in specialty area desirable but not essential
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Caboolture Private is a Preferred Tier 1 Department of Veterans Affairs accredited hospital which allows Veterans to have immediate access to the facilities without in most cases the need for prior approval.
This hospital has 43 beds 3 fully equipped operating theatres a 12 chair Day Procedure Unit and a comfortable day oncology unit. The Hospital is collocated with Caboolture Public Hospital.
