About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Local Support Assistant in Zaventem Belgium to assist with on-site interventions at our local office.
Job Overview:
The Local Support Assistant will be responsible for handling operational tasks on-site ensuring smooth processes for shipments inventory office support and general coordination. This is not a full-time role but an on-demand position with pre-scheduled interventions communicated in advance.
Tasks
Shipment Assistance:
- Prepare shipments to and from the office ensuring proper packing and documentation.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments confirm deliveries and follow up with carriers (DHL FedEx etc.).
- Ensure timely delivery and consistent status follow-up.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory checks for office equipment and supplies.
- Maintain and update inventory records reporting any discrepancies or low stock levels.
General Support & Coordination:
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks in the office as needed.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for support requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve technical or logistical issues.
- Ensure clear communication regarding the status of shipments inventory and operational matters.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Energetic & Motivated: Proactive in handling tasks and problem-solving.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong accuracy in managing shipments inventory and light technical support.
- Flexible Availability: Must be available for on-demand interventions scheduled in advance (Monday to Friday).
- Proximity to Office: Ideally located near Zaventem to ensure quick response times.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of office equipment and IT troubleshooting.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external teams.
- Experience: Background in logistics admin or technical support roles is a plus but not mandatory.
