Job Description

Overview
The Referral Sales & Marketing (Hospital) position is a critical role within our healthcare organization responsible for driving patient referrals and enhancing the hospitals market presence. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with healthcare providers including physicians and specialists to generate referrals and increase patient admissions. In an increasingly competitive healthcare landscape the Referral Sales & Marketing specialist will employ strategic marketing initiatives foster collaboration with various departments and utilize data-driven approaches to understand market trends and patient needs. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in sales and marketing to effectively communicate the hospitals value proposition ultimately improving patient access to high-quality medical care. This position requires a balance of sales acumen marketing strategies and an understanding of healthcare services to succeed and contribute significantly to the organization s growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement referral marketing strategies to maximize patient admissions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential referral sources and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with hospital services.
  • Organize and participate in outreach events and community health programs.
  • Monitor referral metrics and analyze data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Train and support hospital staff on referral processes and best practices.
  • Prepare and present reports on referral performance to management.
  • Manage and update referral databases ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with referral sources to maintain engagement.

  • Provide feedback to marketing teams on effective messaging and promotions.
  • Maintain a positive and professional image of the hospital at all times.
  • Assist in developing promotional materials targeting referral sources.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing preferably in healthcare.
  • Proven track record of successful sales or referral program management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare markets and referral processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
